The Christmas Convoy 2008

The Christmas Convoy 2008 is a blog/site train for digital scrapbookers.

Each designer makes a scrapbooking kit. Each designer makes as many or few papers/elements as they feel like. This Convoy is going to be a totally stress free convoy (train). We provide you with the colors and a dead line. No requirements of mega kits, file naming restrictions, etc. Do it your way!

The kits must be full size (no tagger size kits please). Papers should be 3600x3600 pixels at 300DPI. Elements should be 300DPI. The rest is entirely up to you. Just have fun!

The Convoy takes off on Dec. 1st. 2008. If you are interested please send and email to ChristmasConvoy@gmail.com stating your interest in participating. Please include your Yahoo ID, Designer name, and URL to your blog/site.

After I hear from you, you will be invited to the Yahoo group, which you are required to join.

Each designer is responsible of posting their free kit on their blog/site on Dec. 1st and of course the list of other participating designers. (you will be provided the list prior to Dec. 1st)

The deadline is November 24th 2008.

These are the colors that we ALL must use for our Christmas Convoy 2008 kit.

Please click on the image to open original size color palette. Then right click to save it to your own computer.

If you are not aware of how a blog train (convoy) works here is a quick explanation.
A bunch of people get together and make items that match. Then at a specific date or time all the participants post their parts/items to their blog or website. They also include a list of URL's to other participating websites/blogs (a blog roll). The guests can then visit a lot of different sites and collect tons of matching items/kits. Your visitors will love it, and it will of course bring a lot of extra traffic to your site.

We will do our best to advertise the Christmas Convoy, but you are of course allowed/encouraged to advertise it as well.

I hope a lot of you will join the Christmas Convoy and I look forward to hearing from you :)
